This morning a group of PlayVolley members took part in an event to help raise funds for the Puttinu Cares Foundation.
“The Puttinu Cares Cancer Support Group was set up in 2002 and began from an idea and a wish to offer a holistic approach of care for families who have children suffering from cancer. The founders of Puttinu Cares were Dr. Victor Calvagna and Mr.Rennie Zerafa.”
We would like to thank the following (as seen in the photo from left to right):

People in life move on and take different challenges and paths.
Dear Maria,
The years have passed by so quickly…..and we have built a million wonderful memories together as a team.
We coaches have seen you grow from a little girl to a young lady heading out on your own.
None of us will forget nor can anyone take away from us the bond and friendships we have formed through PlayVolley.
Together forever in our hearts.
We all wish you all the very best!
This week PlayVolley School and the University of Sorbonne will be holding a join volleyball camp in Malta.
This is a great opportunity for our members to meet with volleyball enthusiasts from France.
We hope to see all our families and friends during the activities!
- If you get melted chocolate all over your hands, you’re eating it too slowly.
- Chocolate covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want.
- Diet tip: Eat an Easter egg before each meal.
It’ll take the edge off your appetite, and that way you’ll eat less.
- If you can’t eat all your chocolate, it will keep in the freezer. But if you can’t eat all your chocolate, what’s wrong with you?
- If calories are an issue, store your chocolate on top of the fridge. Calories are afraid of heights, and they will jump out of the chocolate to protect themselves.
- Money talks. Chocolate sings.
- Chocolate has many preservatives. Preservatives make you look younger.
- The problem: How to get two pounds of chocolate eggs home from the store in a hot car.
The solution: Eat the eggs in the car park.
- Why is there no such organization as Chocoholics Anonymous?
Because no one wants to quit.
The volleyball world lost a great player and person.
Condolences to his family from all of us at PlayVolley School.
May he rest in peace.
Snoopy Scavolini is officially the U18 regional champion! The team, composed of athletes from both Pesaro clubs, won the title on Sunday afternoon, beating Scavolini Ferretti.
PlayVolley School under 15 girls won two games in two weeks and this shows the good effort that the girls are putting into it! It of course helps them climb up the standings as well
A week ago our girls played against “Flyers-3″. In the first round our team lost 2-1 but was a very close encounter. This time they not only won the game but did it in a straight 2-0 score (25-20; 25-15). This shows some improvement….
Last weekend our girls faced “Phoenix”. This game was under total control from beginning to end with PlayVolley School repeating the 2-0 score we ahd in the first round (25-12; 25-13).
A big well done goes to our little ones hoping this gives them the right motivation to keep giving their best!
A combative Scavolini snatch two golden points out of Chateau d’Ax Urbino. Everyone thought Chateau d’Ax would repeat the success of the first round since they were two sets up. However the “colibri’s” regret having given the first two sets after they had led throughout; in particular the second where first they led at 7-1 and then at 10-3, but at 21-17 something went off!
